In France, the commemorations of the fiftieth anniversary of May 68 are coming to a close. This will be a last session, non commemorative by essence, that has no other address than the position of the fifty years separating us from 68 and from this « impossible revolution » of which we have remained the contemporaries in the long term that today is to be understood less in terms of a restoration than of a permanent counterrevolution. We propose to problematize this necessary and « impossible » relation to 1968 and to the « 68 thought » under the aspect of critical and clinical apprehensions of our present, in a genealogical perspective.
